January poem
"Thirty days hath September,
April, June, and November,
February has twenty-eight alone,
All the rest have thirty-one;
Excepting leap year, that 's the time
When February's days are twenty-nine."

Room on the broom
We are working with this fairy tale called Room on the Broom.
A story of a witch and her cat.
An amazing book by Julia Donaldson.
November poem
November comes
and November goes,
with the last red berries,
and the first white snows.
With night coming early,
and dawn coming late,
and ice in the bucket
and frost by the gate.
The fires burn
and the kettles sing,
and Earth sleeps
until the next spring.
